Casa Maré
House of the Tide · Ritual Menu · Opening March 2027
A small ritual house in the garden of Mama's Lodge, a bit African and a bit Portuguese, like Inhaca itself. Every treatment is a ritual with a beginning, a middle and a close, in the same unhurried rhythm as our breathwork, yoga, pilates and sound sessions. Rituals use Africology's natural, plant-based botanicals, with coconut, sea salt, lemongrass, ginger and honey from the island.
Every ritual, five steps
- Arrive: barefoot welcome, warm sea-salt and lemongrass foot soak, herbal tea
- Breathe: a few minutes of guided breath before any touch
- Touch: the treatment itself: massage, scrub, wrap or facial
- Sound: singing bowls to close the body work
- Return: rest on the veranda with coconut water or tea
