Mama's Lodge is yours alone: one group at a time, up to 8 adults plus 4 children aged 6 and under. From 2027 our private chef is included in every stay. Choose how you'd like to eat, then fill your days with the island.
The whole lodge and our private chef, who cooks all your meals. You supply the food: we can shop for you in Maputo (charged at cost from the till slips, plus a shopping fee), or you can bring your own. Nightly rates are on our Rates page.

Your arrival and departure days count together as one catering day.
Fully catered, plus your transfers from Maputo airport and a boat or 4x4 excursion every day. Price on request.
Drinks are not included. Send us your list before you arrive and we'll stock the lodge for you and add it to your final invoice.
Our two boats are Mamasita, our smaller boat, and Mama's boat, our larger one. Prices are per trip for your group unless stated. The lodge boat and 4x4 are for your group only, so outings can be arranged once you're here.
